What areas of counseling does CYEGA focus on?

We provide family and or individual structured, goal – oriented, time limited  counseling in the home of families who need assistance recovering from physical, sexual, emotional abuse, and neglect. Other issues, include substance abuse, mental illness, personality/ behavior disorder, developmental disability, dysfunctional family or origin, and current family dysfunctional may be addressed in the course of treating the abuse/neglect.

How much does CYEGA counseling cost?

The counseling that is provided at CYEGA is free of charge as long as the person in need of services has one of our approved insurances.

What insurances does CYEGA take?

Currently, CYEGA takes Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Amerigroup and Community Health Choice 

What if I do not have transportation to take my child to therapy?

Cyega provides in home therapy. Our staff meets in the comfort of your dwelling for services.

Does the therapist have to meet at the child’s home?

No, if authorized by the child’s guardian and the school allows, our therapists can meet at the school for counseling.

How many sessions of counseling are provided?

Each child is provided once a week sessions. Additional sessions during the week would be provided on case by case basis.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

If you are unable to meet for counseling, please contact your assigned therapist within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to contact the therapist call our office at 281-936-0047.

What if I know other children that may benefit from the company’s services?

If you know of other children in/ outside the home that would benefit from our services, feel free to contact your assigned therapist or call our office at 281-936-0047. Upon contacting be able to provide the child’s insurance number and date of birth.

What are CYEGA requirements to receive services?

  • Between the ages of 0-22
  • Have approved insurance through Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Amerigroup
  • Have a mental health diagnosis

 

Is CYEGA affiliated with Texas Department of Family Services?

No,  CYEGA does not have a connection with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
