Dr. Saeed

Dr.  Saeed completed his addiction psychiatry fellowship at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven.  Prior to that, he was a resident in general psychiatry at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.

He is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Urdu/Hindi.  Dr. Saeed is a long time Houstonian, having graduated from Stratford High School and the University of Houston.

Dr. Saeed is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Alan Burns

My name is Alan Burns.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters degree in Family Psychology from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX.  I have been practicing in Houston for 10 years.  I have worked with underserved clients, both adults and children in the community. I worked with MHMRA Harris County with adult mental health, adult probation, juvenile probation services and worked with all kinds of issues including trauma, low self esteem, peer pressure, depression, suicidal thoughts, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorder, family conflicts, substance abuse, anger management, homelessness, and legal problems.  I offer therapy and case management services in the office, school, or home.

Marisa Solorzano MSN, ARNP, FNP-C

General Family Medicine/Orthopedic Radiology/Psychiatry

Marisa is a board-certified nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. She has been in healthcare for over 25 years. She obtained her masters from Prairie View A&M University as a family nurse practitioner and has focused on psychiatry since 2013. She is currently attending the University of Texas where she will obtain her post-masters psychiatric nurse practitioner certification. Her medical specialties include General Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Orthopedic Radiology, and Trigger Point Therapy. Her psychiatric specialties include treatment for: Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders, Schizoaffective Disorders, Major Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorders, and Somatic Symptom Disorders. When not at work she enjoys baking and cooking for her family. She has been married for 31 years, has three children, and five grandchildren.
 

Miguel Medina, BSN, QMHP & RN

Miguel Medina is a Registered Nurse board certified BSN, QMHP & RN. He has been in healthcare for over 10 years. With experience in multiple disciplines such as Pediatric and Adult In-Patient psychiatric units, Hospital Management, Insurance Underwriting, and Community Nursing, Currently Attending to University of Houston Downtown Campus pursuing a degree in Mental Health Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner. His current practice in Cyega involves nursing care to following diagnosis Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders, Schizoaffective Disorders, Major Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorders, and Somatic Symptom Disorders. When not at work enjoys Dancing Bachata and Cooking BBQ (with some top secret recipes).
